Sadly, everyone knows that, once again, the Pistons didn’t make the NBA playoffs. As a result, head coach Stan Van Gundy has been fired. Pistons owner Tom Gores said, “We have decided that this change is necessary to take our basketball organization to the next level. This was a very difficult decision and we did not come to it lightly.” The Pistons are now considering Chauncey Billups, Brent Berry, and Monty Williams as possible replacements.
