  • What made you want to become a guidance counselor?

“I loved working with kids because before becoming a counselor I was a teacher. I wanted to continue to be able to work with them.”

  • Describe one of your most memorable moments/days in your career.

“Megan Keller, one of my former students, who I have known for a long time, won the gold medal in women’s ice hockey in the 2018 Winter Olympics.”

  • How do you spend your summer breaks?

“I am usually scheduling for the next school year. When I am not doing that, I like to read, workout, and just relax.”

  • How do you handle stress?

“Working out calms my stress and having down time to spend with my friends and family.”

  • Where do you see yourself in five years?

“Still working in the profession to help other people but probably in a different job.”
