  • What made you want to become a teacher?

“I started out working at Ford and hated it, and at the time, my wife was a teacher. So, I would come home and help her grade and make quizzes and soon realized that I liked doing that. I then went back to school and became a teacher.”

  • How do you spend your summer breaks?

“I run a lot; I do half marathons and triathlons. I also love to hike.”

  • What tips and tricks would you give to a future teacher?

“Simply, just try to have fun with the kids because sometimes material is plain and boring.”

  • List three adjectives that describe your teaching style.

“I would describe my teaching style as prepared, fair, and fun.”

  • What is one fun fact that no one knows about you?

“In high school, I actually only did cross country to train for the upcoming basketball season because I would be in shape just when it started.”

Rebecca Tauber is an eighth grader at Warner Middle School. She has been a dancer for nine years and has danced the styles of Jazz, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre. She is the oldest sibling in her family, and her favorite TV show is “Dancing With the Stars.” Rebecca’s favorite subject is math. She is currently in the Warner Yearbook/Journalism class. Her favorite dessert of all time is red velvet cupcakes. Rebecca is a nice and kind person.
