Last week, the sixth grade students went to Heritage Park for a fun day of learning about the environment. They went there for some fun outdoor education and to learn different ways to save the environment.  Some activities they did were learning about different scenarios where you can save the environment. They also went on a nature walk in the woods around the park.  They finished off the trip by visiting the nature center, where they saw live animals and taxidermies.

Ms. Dalton said that it was a very fun and educational and that the taxidermies were the highlights of the trip since most of the students had never seen a taxidermy before.
